A new bag for me

My much loved bag has a hole so I've made a new one. I picked out the pattern and bought the fabric a month or so ago and have only now found the time to sew it up. I used this free online tutorial. It was great to use - lots of photos and detailed instructions. Echino outer and demin inner. I love it!

Your bag looks fabulous! I've actually just cut out the pattern to make this bag too! Can you give me some advice though... I'm wondering if I could use some old flannelette nappies as the 'flannel interlining' that the pattern specifies?! Or do I need something a bit thicker like quilt wadding? What did you use? :)

Ambew I just used some flanelette I has laying around from when I used that fabric in fitted nappies. Hidden in the middle layers of the bag are racing cars and fire engines!
I wouldn't use anything thicker that flannelette.

LOL! Brilliant! Thanks, I'll do the same then. The main fabric I'm going to use is Ink & Spindle's Sumor by Hollabee. I'm going to do it today now you've solved my interlining dilemma! :D
